BR endorses Obama

Hillary is done.

"Mr. Obama’s address on race in Philadelphia on Tuesday appeared to sway Mr. Richardson, who sent word to the senator that he was inspired and impressed by the speech, in which Mr. Obama called for an end to the “racial stalemate” that has divided Americans for decades. Aides said the endorsement was locked down over the following two days".

I was excited to see Bill

I was excited to see Bill Richardson enter the Prez race. But, he gave such a less-than-impressive performance in debate and interviews that I don't think he would even make a good VP choice. Maybe SOS.

My first choice was Edwards, and left with the two remaining candidates, I chose Hillary on the basis of experience, and grasp of the issues. Plus, I remember the prosperous years of Bill's eight years compared to the near-depression we find ourselves in today. If you will recall, Bill left office with a very high approval rating. A lot of people like him.

There really isn't much difference in the positions of the two, so what is the big deal? Either one will do just fine, but what Bill Richardson thinks is not a big deal to me.

What Bill Richardson thinks not only a big deal, it's the only deal!!

Camera friendliness and crowd-pleasing-ness aside, BR has the foreign policy experience to know if Iran is supporting the Sunnis or Shiites in Iraq and was a good enough governor to have approval ratings exceeding 70 percent.

bettyb, thank you for contributing, but it's kind of an ongoing thing that I laud over everything BR does. The two candidates may be similar, but my _heart_ must go where BR's goes.
